Internship For this shelter we are looking for a student with a social background (SPW, Social Work or similar study.) You will be working five days a week with these women and children whereby you will guide them for 3-6 months and support them emotionally. If necessary, you will be asked to assist at the baby day care centre. Apart from the guidance and assistance there will be sufficient time to carry out your own assignment

The clients are both children and adults, depending on preference oneor both groups will be treated by you. The shelter expects that you are accurate, honest,result-focused and involved. Not only will the interns be involved in the restoration and maintenance of the Dinokeng Big Five Game Reserve, but they will also assist in maintaining the sanctuary which was set up by Kevin Richardson for the animals in his care. The Welgedacht Game Reserve at 1200 ha and the many animals that call it home, all require maintenance, care and management.

    Internship The internship program can accommodate a maximum of 16 students at one time. There is enough flexibility when it comes to the dates, however it is required to give notice at least 3 months in advance due to availability, adjustments in the internship program and other arrangements.
